I studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark during the fall semester of my junior year. One of the courses that I was enrolled in was titled “Guilty Pleasures of Pop Culture” taught by Professor Morten Lykkegaard. This was my final paper written as a culmination of the course. We had complete freedom over the topic of the paper as long as it connected to the course content. Therefore, I used this as an opportunity to write about one of my favorite songwriters, and business woman, Taylor Swift.
