Social Psychology Research

For this project, my peers and I designed a research study on perceived political incongruence moderate the relationship between fear of social isolation and self-censoring in college students before and after the 2024 presidential election on YikYak (an anonymous platform) versus Instagram (non-anonymous platform). The research was conducted on undergraduate students across multiple disciplines. We then engaged in data analysis alongside Dr. Jessica Good – the principal investigator and course instructor. Finally, we culminated the project in the format of a collaborative manuscript and class presentation. The manuscript is attached below.
